On March 8, 2018, SCFAI welcomed guests from two important partner universities, School of Art and Design of University of Kassel of Germany and Nottingham Trent University of UK.

The School of Art and Design of University of Kassel is the first overseas education institution establishing long term cooperative ties with SCFAI. With concerted effort, we have together promoted thestudents exchange program and our Department of Art jointly curated exhibitions with the School of Art and Design of University of Kassel. Head of Department of Philosophy of University of Kassel and President of ILWG, Professor Stephen Majetschak and Assistant Professor Dr. Wang Zhuofei expressed that they would proactively promote friendly exchanges between both sides and provide full support to the student exchange program.

At the meeting, the three parties conducted in-depth discussions on the China-UK Joint Education 1+1(+1) International Postgraduate Experimental Class program and 2+2 International Undergraduate Experimental Class program of the “Hi! Global Creatives! Global Art Design Talent Cultivation Project” (HGC Project). Nottingham Trent University (hereafter referred to as NTU) is one of our cooperative partners under the HGC Project. Both NTU and SCFAI will try to find areas of cooperation in artistic innovation, teaching model, and discipline development so as to achieve resource optimization, mutual complementation, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. In addition, we also discussed student exchange program. It was our shared wish that we could jointly cultivate innovative, multi-talented and industrially practical new art design talents with global vision who can emerge in global competition. Both parties will strengthen contact to promote more cooperation projects.
