Details of Scholarship

1. First-class scholarship: 25,000-35,000/year

   Bachelor students:  25000 RMB 

   Master students: 30000RMB

   Doctoral students: 35000RMB

   Visiting students:  10000RMB

2. Second-class scholarship

   Bachelor students:   10000 RMB

   Master students: 15000RMB

   Doctoral students: 20000RMB

   Visiting students:  8000RMB

Delivering method:the amount of money from which 600 RMB for medical insurance is deducted will be delivered in 12 months

3. All Municipal scholarship students must pay the corresponding tuition fees and accommodation fees before enjoying monthly delivery of Scholarship.

4. Chongqing Municipal Government Scholarship should be applied every year. Reapplication shall be done for the second year.

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be of non-Chinese citizenship and under the age of 40.

2. The applicant wish to study for at least one semester.

3. The applicant must satisfy other application requirements of Chongqing University for foreign students.

4. The applicant who wishes to apply for senior visiting student must hold the title of associate professorship or above. 

How & When to Apply

1. The applicant should submit application materials directly to the International Students Office of Chongqing University by post or email.

2. The application deadline: March 30.

1.Application Form:  Photocopy or original. Required.

2.Highest Diploma Obtained:  

• Photocopy Required. 

• In Chinese or in English. 

• Notorized version for diploma in other languages.

3.Transcripts:  

• Photocopy Required. 

• In Chinese or in English. 

• Notorized version for diploma in other languages.

4.Recommendation Letter:  Original. Recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors. Required for degree program applicants.

5.Study Plan:  Required. No less than 400 words. In Chinese or in English.

6.Physical Examination Form:  Photocopy. Required.

7.HSK or equivalent Chinese language proficiency certificate:  Optional

8.Publications:  Optional

9.Awards:  Optional

10.Copy of Passport:  Required
